Sand Castle Building Rules

FREE and open to all ages (there will be three age categories—10 and under, 11-17, 18 and up).  No pre-registration required - just be at the beach at 9:45 am to sign up your team.

• You may have up to three people on your team

• Building begins at 10 am and ends at noon

• Judging begins at noon

• Prizes awarded at 12:30 pm

• Only sand, water, shells, and other natural materials found on the beach can be used in the construction process

• Hand tools may be used but no power tools

• Only verbal assistance in Under 10 category

• Design limited to 10’x10’ space

• Inappropriate sculptures will be disqualified

• You are encouraged to title your sculpture
